There are all types of lighting to use in the home these days. The more conventional being electric lighting. For years candles were our main source of lighting, and my favorite. Open dishs containing oil and a wick were another early form of lighting. I have included some ideas for candles. The first one being old glass lamp shades, which can be found almost anywhere. These are placed upside down on the surface with a tealight inside. As you can see, the effect is lovely. Another idea is the good old orange. Cut in half, dig out the orange being careful not to break the white wick. Then pour some olive oil in, leaving about a centimetre for the exposed wick and light. This should burn for sometime. One more that I have included are glasses with a twig placed in the middle. Pour water in and place your floating candle on top. These make great centrepeices.
